How often do you get out there and run?
I run three to four times per week, usually on my treadmill. I work from home full-time as a project manager and editor, so I’m lucky enough to be able to squeeze in runs on my lunch break! Once I start marathon training again later this month, I’ll move more of my runs outside on weekends.

What has been your biggest obstacle as a runner?
My biggest obstacle is time. It’s hard to fit in longer runs on busy weekends with my family. Luckily, my husband Tom and our four-year-old daughter Delaney are very supportive of my running. I have a fellow runner girl in the making!

What tips do you have for other runners to stay motivated.
I thrive on listening to running podcasts while I run. Whenever I see a new podcast episode automatically download (yay for subscriptions!), I get a little giddy. My current rotation includes Runner Girls Podcast, The Running Lifestyle Show, Runner’s World, Running for Real Podcast (with Tina Muir), Another Mother Runner, and Run, Selfie, Repeat. I also love fictional podcasts like Tanis and Rabbits.

How has your Charmed Running item/purchased given you inspiration? (Share a photo if you can!)
I love my shoe charm that I’ve dedicated to a young woman named Shelby who has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. She and I are part of the IRUN4 community, which you can find at http://www.whoirun4.com. Whether it’s during a hard race or a long run, it gives me inspiration to look down at the charm and think about what Shelby goes through on a daily basis.

Where is your favorite place to run?
I love running on trails when I get the chance. It’s a bit hard to find trails around southern Delaware, but when we go hiking as a family, my daughter and I like to run the trails.

If you could go back in time and give any advice to a younger you, what would it be?
Be kind to yourself. Life is not a competition. Do what you enjoy, and don’t worry about what others are doing.

Tell us about your online business, blog, or website.
I have a running blog at RunBeckyRun.WordPress.com. I also have an editing side business at ClaytonEditorial.com
